This BMV comes in the form of a black halo that gives off a faint, violet light. Bonding to it requires communing with the fallen angel’s soul trapped within. Upon success, it transforms to person into a fallen angel themselves, allowing them to draw upon the power of angels when they so desire it. It appears that the angel wants to redeem itself since he became a fallen angel. As to how he wants to redeem himself, that still remains a mystery.

Failure by 5 or less merely knocks out the person for 1d4 hours and causes 1 damage to all mental scores from their mind being assaulted briefly.


Lore Exposition

Once a Solar himself, this great angel has fallen from grace due to his alignment shifts. Instead of using his powers for the greater good, he only used them when he felt he would benefit from it, and has used his power to help those of evil alignment. After losing his divine powers, he roamed the material plane in search of a way to regain his power. There, -———- The rest appears to be uncertain.

The angel has attempted to drug and rape at least one person while possessing the body of another

The angel has killed the owner of a bar in cold blood while possessing the body of a user

It is certain that his goal is to regain his divine powers no matter the cost. As a byproduct, he knows that in doing so will also grant his wielder the same powers.

Note: The Solars true intent appears to not be to seek redemption but to merely to regain it’s lost power. As a being of the highest order of good this means it has fallen very, very low


Known Boons
+2 Inherent bonus to Wis and Cha

3+Stat Per Day (Swift) (Sp) : Grow black feathery wings and gain a Fly speed of 30 feet, (Average maneuverability). The wings last for a number of minutes equal to the users highest mental stat modifier.

Energy Resistance (Ex) : Gain +5 resist acid, cold (Stacks with other sources)

Detect Evil (Sp) : Cast Detect Evil Mental Stat Mod Per Day

At all levels, the angel will be able to speak with its wielder. It’s ability to do so is limited, but increases as it gains more power.


Level 4 BMV

This BMV causes the user to gain a +2 to WIS and CHA as an inherit bonus.

The user gains acid resistance 10, cold resistance 10, and electricity resistance 10.

Can cast Light at will.
Can cast detect alignment at will.
Can cast true seeing for 1 charge
CL equal to character level

1 charge, the wielder can sprout black feathery wings as a move action and gain a fly speed equal to their land speed 10 for a number of minutes equal to caster stat. While this is in effect, the user can activate the effects of the spell sanctuary for caster stat rounds. These rounds do not need to be consecutive. The DC to overcome it is 14+caster mod

Level 5 BMV

This BMV causes the user to gain a +2 to WIS and CHA as an inherit bonus.

They are also treated as an outsider (native) for all effects relating to race. They also gain acid resistance 10, cold resistance 10, and electricity resistance 10.

Can cast Light at will.
Can cast detect alignment at will.
Can cast true seeing for 1 charge
CL equal to character level

1 charge, the wielder can sprout black feathery wings as a move action and gain a fly speed equal to their land speed 10 for a number of minutes equal to caster stat. While this is in effect, the user can activate the effects of the spell sanctuary for caster stat rounds. These rounds do not need to be consecutive. The DC to overcome it is 15+caster mod
2 charges, the wielder creates a protective aura around themselves and their allies. Everyone within (5*caster mod) feet of the user gets a +4 to their AC and saves. This lasts for 1 minute.

In addition, the bonder can now summon the solar for up to caster mod hours per day. The solar is in a weakened state and has access to no spells (as it lost them all). It can use all the BMV abilities at will though, but the aura ability has a recharge time equal to 1d6 minutes after the effect ends. The sanctuary ability lasts for at maximum 5 rounds for it, after which it takes 1d6 minutes to charge up again as well. The two auras do not stack. If an enemy is killed while within the BMV users active aura, the solar can be summoned for an extra hour that day.

They will be treated as both an outsider(native) in addition to any other creature types they may have.

Once the two souls have fused, it can have one of three effects.

• The first, if the bonded has divine magic. They now suffer from magic failure as an arcane caster, starting at 10%. If they wear armor, this is added to the total.

• If they use arcane magic, they now have a stacking +15% arcane spell failure, regardless if they wear armor or not (are always at 15% spell failure).

• If they do not possess a caster level, they instead have a -5 to will saves against any magic that is divine, as they are now more susceptible to it.
